Version 1.3 released

Version 1.3 introduces a spaced repetition learning mode which can be enabled from the settings menu. From the settings you can access the repetition schedule to set the learning pack size and repetition delays although you can continue with the default values.

The Import menu now also allows you to import TXT and CSV files directly from any URL. An example URL has been provided ( be aware the example URL points to a list of words already present in the tutorial word lists so you will not notice anything change unless you have deleted the tutorial lists).

The option to reverse front/back of card is now on the settings menu. Previously this was located on the filter screen but due to a large number of user queries as to where to find this option it has been moved to a more obvious place.

We have just released version 1.2.7 to the Android Market and have uploaded the latest version of Tiny Classroom Web. Tiny Classroom Web learning lists now contain statistically accurate translations for 90,000 words across 30 separate languages. Please note that the translations represent the most common use and therefore parts of speech such as verbs may not show the infinitive forms. Tiny Classroom has been designed to supplement language study and as such all learning lists should be used in conjunction with additional study. We welcome your feedback on the new lists.

Tiny Classroom version 1.2.6 has been released. We have received a number of request from users for various features and have incorporated these wherever possible in the last two minor releases. These enhancements have included user interface improvements, additional settings and bug fixes. We welcome your feedback and will try to assist wherever we can.

Version 1.2 released

Tiny Classroom version 1.2 incorporating Tiny Classroom Web has now been released. Under version 1.2 you can access 25,000 words from 10 languages directly from your phone. We currently support Hebrew, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, German and French. In this version we have also completed our user interface and performance enhancements.

Tiny Classroom Web has been loaded with word lists based on frequency of speech. It is our view that this provides users with the most useful grouping for large lists of words. In version 1.3 we are intending to introduce a spaced repetition learning mode which will help you to manage such learning lists containing 50 or more words. We will also be looking at providing some additional options for moving between words and some innovations to allow you to configure and download word lists specific to your learning needs directly from Tiny Classroom Web.
